On 15th & 22nd may 2002 a strong GALE hit the entire region of western bank of river Sheonath. It caused serious damage to the Temple of Shri Uwassaggaharam Parshwanath Paras Nagar, Nagpura (Durg). This natural calamity cracked the main dome chook the supporting pillars and damaged the supporting beams, All these warrant immediate repair. A team of Civil Experts, Architects & Engineers detailed to estimate the cost of damage & repair have estimated it to the tune of over Rs. 3 Corers The Managing Committee of the sacred temple has approached all philanthropic social institution for extending urgent financial back up so as to launch timely repairs and to avoid further aggravation of the damaged done. Seth Anandji Kalyanji Pedhi-Trust Ahemadabad, are the first to respond.

They have assured a priority donation of Rs. 25.00 lakhs. The temple management humbly appeals to all noble devotees to come forward and join hands by giving liberal contribution and much needed timely help. Their earnest support will help protecting this magnificent temple house of Lord Shri Parswanath Swamy and its gracious eye-pleasing surrounding. Kindly come forward and donate liberally.
